Gravel Duatlon Bergom

About the race

The Gravel Duatlon of Bergom combines running and gravel riding in the classic duathlon order: first 5 kilometres of running, then 30 kilometres on the bike and finally another 2.5 kilometres on foot. The cycling leg is emphatically not a road course but leads over gravel and forest paths in the hilly landscape around Bergom, a village in the municipality of Herselt. The organisers promise a rolling route with a solid share of climbing, which sets the race apart from the flat duathlons more common in Flanders. The start falls in the late afternoon, so the whole thing is settled in the early evening. LYFF Events handles the organisation.
