About the race

The Grand Prix Oscar Blairon is a Sunday morning road race in Estinnes, starting and finishing at the village school of Estinnes-au-Val. There are two distances: a long loop of 10.9 kilometres with 97 metres of climbing and a short one of 5.45 kilometres with 49 metres, both across the rolling countryside of Hainaut. The relief is noticeable but stays moderate, which keeps the course within reach of a broad field. The youth races follow later in the morning. The organisers provide changing rooms, showers and a supervised bag drop. The race counts towards the Challenge Hainaut, the provincial road-running series in which runners collect points across a long list of events.
