Les Foulées Merbiennes is a race in Merbes-le-Château within the Challenge de la Province du Hainaut. On Saturday 13 June 2026, the programme offers two main distances: 5.4 kilometres and 9.1 kilometres, both starting at 15:00 from Rue Edmond Lengrand 12. Young runners have their own jeunes foulées earlier in the day at 13:45. The event is organised in cooperation with the municipal administration of Merbes-le-Château and RFC La Buissière, as part of the municipality's sporting challenges. The course has noticeable but manageable elevation, with about 60 metres of climbing on the short distance and 88 metres on the long distance. Changing rooms, showers and bag storage make the race practical as well as competitive, while the challenge format adds extra motivation for runners collecting points across multiple events.
