The Gijmeljogging is the club run of KVC Langdorp, in Langdorp near Aarschot, starting and finishing at the clubhouse on Gijmelsesteenweg. The evening opens with a Kids Cross for the youngest participants, after which the 5 and the 10 kilometres set off together. The course is flat and on hard surface, running through the meadows and woods around Langdorp, which makes the race accessible for beginners while still being fast enough for anyone chasing a time. You can register in advance, but also on site in the hour before the start. The race counts towards the Aarschots Joggingcriterium and otherwise unfolds in the easy-going club atmosphere the association builds around it.
