Fun Industry Run

About the race

The Fun Industry Run goes across the industrial estate of Aalter, and that is exactly the point: the route runs alongside and straight through participating companies, giving you a look inside places that are closed the rest of the year. Obstacles and entertainment line the way, and nothing is timed — you go at your own pace, running or walking. For children there is a run of their own with a treasure hunt. Foodtrucks stand on the central grounds. The event is organised by Rotary Club Aalter and the proceeds go to local causes, among them vzw De Toevlucht. It is therefore more a company open day with a course than a race.
