The Fluo Nightrun sets off from the Laguna sports hall on the Krommedijk in Knokke-Heist and covers about seven kilometres in the dark. Between seven and ten past the runners go, ten minutes later the walkers — a free start, then, with no gun. The course does not stay on the street: it leads through buildings, venues and recognisable spots around the seaside town, which makes the outing feel more like an exploration than a race. Maspoe organises it together with the Knokke-Heist municipality.
