Flanders Triathlon Sports is not a single race but a multi-day weekend in Tildonk, near Haacht, built around the Belgian Double Triathlon: twice the Ironman distance back to back. Around it lies a full spread of formats — an eighth, a quarter and a half triathlon, a variant over 24 hours, and Mini-Kort and Mini-Lang for children — divided over separate days, with a test day beforehand and a recreational and a competitive division kept apart. Anyone who does not swim or cycle can turn to the nature runs of 15 and 24 kilometres. It is therefore a sports weekend with an extreme core rather than a race with side activities.
