Kattevennen Easter Trail & Walk is a trail and walking event by Go Dare Events at Sport Vlaanderen Kattevennen in Genk. The venue sits on the edge of Nationaal Park Hoge Kempen, with forest tracks, nature paths and sections towards Zutendaal and the Papendaal area. The programme combines walking and trail running on the same day, with distances of 5 km, 9 km, 14 km, 20 km and 27 km. The 5 km remains accessible for families, while the longer distances ask for more endurance and trail feel. Dogs are allowed if they stay on a leash and start from the back, which fits the relaxed outdoor atmosphere. It is important to see this as the current Kattevennen Easter Trail & Walk, not the older Easter Nighttrail format.
