The Dorpsloop Nij Beets was a village race on a fully paved course around Nij Beets, with 5 and 10 kilometres for adults and a Kidsrun over 600 and 1200 metres. The afternoon opened with the children at one o'clock, after which the 5 and the 10 kilometres set off shortly after one another. After three editions the race is not going ahead: the initiator has cancelled it because new municipal requirements left him too little time to get the organisation in place.
