Door de Poeselse velden is the May fair run in Poesele, near Deinze. Participants choose one, two, three or four laps of about 5 km, covering 5, 10, 15 or 20 km through the Poesele area. Electronic timing, a group warm-up and a drink for every participant give the race a simple but well-organised structure. As a cava walk is also scheduled for the same evening, the run clearly fits within a local village celebration where sport and social gathering come together.
