Dijkloop Urk 2026
The Dijkloop Urk runs along the dyke from Lemmer to Urk, some twenty-three kilometres in a single straight line. It is a point-to-point: you start at the dyke in Lemmer and finish on Urk. The course is tarmac with the occasional metal grating, and offers no shelter whatever — on an IJsselmeer dyke the wind direction decides how the day goes, more than the profile or the pace. Entry is free. The event is organised by Loopgroep Urk, who also put on the Urk Marathon.
