De WeerseLoop

About the race

De WeerseLoop is a morning of running and walking in Weerselo, organised through ODI Weerselo, with the start area at VV UD Weerselo on Gunnerstraat. On Sunday 14 June 2026, participants can choose from an 8 km walk at 09:30, a 5 km run at 10:00 or a 10 km run at 10:10. Later in the morning there are kids runs of 375 metres, 1.2 kilometres and 1.8 kilometres for different age groups. The 5 km and 10 km have been published as measured routes; the course uses public roads and is not completely closed to traffic. That gives De WeerseLoop a clearly village-based character: organised, friendly and broad enough for walkers, children and runners looking for a quick 5 or 10 kilometres.
