About the race
The Patattenloop is a new run by Chiro Kortrijk-Dutsel in Holsbeek. Start and finish are at the Chiro clubhouse in Kortrijk-Dutsel. Adults run 5 or 10 km; for children there are three short heats of 300 m, 600 m and 1.5 km, with a suggested age per school year. The kids' runs open the day at 11 a.m., and the 10 km starts last, early in the afternoon. A fun bonus: the fastest man and woman on the 10 km win their weight in potatoes from a local farm.
