De Kerel Trail

About the race

De Kerel Trail sets off from the Verbeeck-Back-De Cock brewery in Tielrode and is both a running and walking event. You choose between 5.3, 13.7 and 17.9 km; all routes are marked with arrows and pass the Roomacker provincial estate. The middle distance takes in a stretch of the Durme river and the paths of Klein and Groot Broek, while the long distance also seeks out some elevation gain in Sombeke. A large part is unpaved, so trail shoes are advisable in wet weather. You start freely between 10 and 11.30 a.m. Organiser: Dust Running Events.
