De Boever Trail d'Alost 2026
De Boever Trail d’Alost is the light trail run organised by Koninklijke Atletiekclub Eendracht Aalst in and around Aalst’s city park. The edition on Sunday 4 October 2026 starts on the central square, near the Melkhuisje, and offers trail distances of 8, 18 and 32 km. Walkers can start freely for the 8 km, and children have separate runs of 480 metres and 1,000 metres. The course uses as many unpaved paths as possible and passes green areas such as the Gerstjens, Somergembos, Kluizenbos, Kapellemeersen and, on the longest distance, Kravaalbos. With full course marking, controlled crossings and a recreational focus, this is an accessible trail for runners who want to combine nature, variety and a well-organised club event.
