The Crossloop Zuidwolde sets off at Camping De Entekoele and runs on unpaved paths through the Faliebergbos, past the Entekoele and the Tonckenshuis. The climb up the Falieberg is the fixed closing piece of every lap, which gives the 5 kilometres character straight away and makes the 10 kilometres take that same climb twice. For children there are two Kidsloops, of 1250 metres for six to nine year olds and 2500 metres for ten to twelve. The 5 kilometres also carries a canicross classification for those running with a dog. The race falls each year on the first Sunday of October and is organised by Loopgroep Zuidwolde.
