Biathlon Major Peak

About the race

Biathlon Major Peak is the cross-biathlon race for the Ovifat/Sourbrodt area, based at Rue de Botrange 123 in the High Fens. Within the 2026 Challenge Cross Biathlon it is a major event in individual format. Participants combine off-road running loops with shooting stages; in this format, missed targets add time penalties, so controlled running and calm shooting matter equally. The programme includes 5 km, 10 km and a 1 km Kids Run. Its location near Botrange gives the race a distinctive High Fens atmosphere, with a sporting setting that suits the compact biathlon concept. The event appeals both to competitive participants and to families looking for a well-organised cross-biathlon day.
