About the race

Chaudfontrail is the trail of I Love Running Liège in Chaudfontaine, starting at the Parc des Sources by Source O Rama. The organisers do not present the four distances as kilometres but as levels: 3 kilometres Initiation, 8 kilometres Découverte, 15 kilometres Confirmé and 31 kilometres Expérimenté. They set off in reverse order, the longest at nine and the shortest at quarter to eleven. One thing to arrange beforehand: there are no cups at the refreshment stations. You have to bring something to drink from, or you go without. That fits the set-up — plain, with the hills around the Vesdre valley as the real offer.
