Champion's Trail

About the race

Champion's Trail is a small-scale trail and walking event organised by Institut de la Providence and its parents' association in Champion, near Namur. The third edition on 23 May 2026 links Marche-les-Dames Abbey with the school on Place du Couvent, with shuttles handling the logistics between the two locations. Runners can choose 8, 14 or 21 km; there is also a kids run and an 8 km gourmet walk. The elevation makes the longer routes sharper than a standard school run. It is a locally driven race: simple in structure, but with a distinctive point-to-point course, a family atmosphere and a clear connection to the Meuse valley around Champion and Marche-les-Dames.
