The Castle Trail La Hulpe sets off from the Hotel Dolce and runs largely through the Solvay estate around the castle of La Hulpe and the southern part of the Sonian Forest. There are three distances with rising climb: 15 kilometres with 300 metres, 20 with 352 and 40 with 700, the longest reaching out as far as the Uccle hippodrome. Watch the timetable, because it is not what you would expect: the 40 and the 20 leave in the morning at nine and half past nine, but the 15 does not start until two in the afternoon. Anyone running the short distance has a whole morning to fill first.
