Van Spronsen BreakfastRun

About the race

The Van Spronsen BreakfastRun is the early King's Day race of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht and has been going since 2006. Start and finish are on the Weteringsingel; the routes run straight through the village and end in the heart of Ambacht. There are two running distances, 5 and 10 kilometres, and a 5-kilometre walking route. The hour is the heart of the event: this is run in the early morning, with the 550-metre kidsrun at quarter to six going first — though that only happens if enough children enter. Of every entry, 2.50 euro goes to Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp, and you can add a donation of your own when you register.
