Brabantse Wouden Trail is a self-reliant ultra trail from The Shelter in Korbeek-Dijle, organised by WACO Sports. The race runs through the wooded network of the Brabant forests, with passages towards Zoniënwoud, Meerdaalwoud, Heverleebos and other green areas around Leuven and Bertem. The formats range from BWT40 to BWT200, with distances of 44, 76, 111, 161 and 201 km, starting across 24 and 25 July 2026. There are no arrows on the course: participants run by GPX and are followed by live tracking, so navigation, self-sufficiency and pacing are part of the challenge. This is not a classic marked trail, but a long-distance event for runners looking for endurance, forest routes and autonomy.
