Booischot Statie is a local fair-time road race organised by AVZK in Booischot-Statie, starting on Kleine Steenweg. The race belongs in Booischot, part of Heist-op-den-Berg, not in Begijnendijk, and combines youth and G-sport races with adult distances of 4.5, 7.5 and 10.5 km. That makes the programme broad without becoming complicated: young runners, G-athletes, recreational participants and regular road runners can each find a suitable distance. Organisation through AVZK and Ikloopmee gives the event a familiar club and criterium atmosphere. Booischot Statie is mainly an accessible summer evening race with fairground character, clear distances and strong local roots.
