Bokkerieje Run en Bike

About the race

Bokkerieje Run en Bike is a recreational charity event in Maaseik, organised by VZW Bokkerieje Rotary Maaseik. The day combines a city run through the historic centre with separate cycling routes through the Limburg countryside, all starting and finishing on the Markt. Runners can choose RUN distances of 4, 8 and 12 km, while cyclists have route options of roughly 30, 45 and 75 km. The event is not built around fast times, but around experience, discovery and solidarity, with the recognisable Bokkenstallen and local animation adding atmosphere along the way. That makes Bokkerieje more than a regular run or bike ride: it is an accessible sporting day where Maaseik, community life and good causes visibly come together.
