Boekt Loopt sets off from the village square on the Ubbelstraat in Boekt, a hamlet of Heusden-Zolder. The programme covers a wide field: a kids run of 200 metres and an obstacle run of a kilometre for the youngest, street runs over 5 and 10 kilometres, and alongside those three trails — ten miles, a half trail marathon and an off-road marathon. Road athletes, trail runners and families therefore line up on the same day from the same square. The marathon received a completely new course this year.
