Biertrail Gorp en Roovert

About the race

Biertrail Gorp en Roovert is a social trail by Bierbattle at the Roovertsche Leij in Goirle, on the edge of Dutch and Belgian countryside. The roughly 12-kilometre route runs through the wooded Gorp en Roovert area and passes several beer stops. This is not a timed race, but a group fun run at a pace of around 6:30 min/km. Along the way, participants taste five local beers, get snacks and are accompanied by a beer sommelier who adds the stories behind the glasses. Brouwerij Nicolaas from Goirle is present at start and finish, and the post-run drink at the Roovertsche Leij remains part of the experience. The trail is therefore best suited to runners who want to combine running outdoors, regional beer and an easy-going group atmosphere.
