The Bierrun en -walk Den Bosch is a social run through the centre of 's-Hertogenbosch, starting and finishing on the Parade, where the Dutch speciality beer festival is also held. There is no timing: the whole group sets off together, guided by beer sommeliers, over a little under eight kilometres that you can either run or walk. Along the way there are several stops, each for a tasting glass and a story about the beer or about the city. Organiser Bierbattle calls it a calorie-neutral beer tasting itself, and that sums the thing up: the pace matters less than what there is to taste and hear on the way.
