About the race

Commemorative run around the liberation of Vlissingen, which took place in early November 1944 during the Battle of the Scheldt. You choose a long distance of 15.2 kilometres or a short one of 6 kilometres; children run 900 or 1800 metres. There is also a 16 kilometre walking route. The run combines sport with attention to the city's wartime history on the Western Scheldt. Advance registration is possible right up to and including race day.
