Berkel Trail

About the race

Berkel Trail is a small-scale trail run from the Zompenloods at Stijgoord 2 in Lochem. The event is the spring counterpart to the Woest DEO Trailrun: runners choose roughly 23 or 32 km and follow the route by GPX, shared a few days before the start. The course winds through the countryside around Lochem, over forest paths, past heathland and the Grote Veld, along the Berkel near Almen and through Lochem's historic centre.
