Averegtenjogging is the nature-oriented run organised by Heistse Berglopers in Hallaar, with the De Averegten provincial green domain as its setting. Start and finish are at the KFCM Hallaar football ground on Spekstraat. The main 5 km and 10 km distances each use one lap, combining short public-road sections with mostly runnable forest paths. That gives the race a different feel from a classic road run while keeping it accessible for recreational runners and criterium participants. With youth races, a G-run, timing and practical club support, it is mainly a warm local fixture in the Heist Joggingcriterium.
