The Aarschotse Stratenloop fills an afternoon with six starts, from children up to twelve kilometres. It begins at two with the youth over 200, 600 and 1200 metres; the 3 km, the 6 km and, at four o'clock, the 12 km follow. The course is flat and entirely paved, running through the city centre and partly through the municipal park — no trail, then, and no half marathon, but a classic street race where pace is what counts. The run is part of the Aarschots Joggingcriterium, so your result feeds a standings table across several races. By six everything is over. De Knoet and ROBA Betekom stage it together.
