6 uur van Aalter is a timed race by Marathon and More Belgium vzw at Sportpark Aalter. The 12 July 2026 edition is not about a fixed distance, but about covering as many metres as possible in six hours, solo or in relay. The course is a traffic-free loop of roughly 1.4 to 1.5 km with a passage through the sports hall, electronic lap timing and a strong supporter atmosphere. That makes the event feel both like an ultrarun and a team challenge: runners have to manage pace, keep collecting laps and handle relay changes or solo rhythm wisely.
