The race is held on a flat, paved and evening-lit 1.479 km lap. Participants choose 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours, solo or as a 24-hour team, and try to cover as much distance as possible within that time; breaks do not stop the clock. Results are based on completed laps and remaining metres. With official splits including 50 km, 50 miles, 100 km and 100 miles, the event feels both accessible and serious for ultrarunners.
