10,30km van Schaarbeek

About the race

The 10.30 km of Schaarbeek is a Brussels evening race with the Terdelt stadium as its gathering point and finish. The name is neither a typo nor a 30-kilometre race: Schaarbeek's postcode is 1030, and the main distance is measured to match it — exactly 10.30 kilometres. Alongside it there is a 5 kilometres, a 6-kilometre walk and a series of children's races, so a whole family can turn up on the same evening. The course is urban and stays within the municipality, which makes the race feel more like a neighbourhood appointment than an anonymous road event. VZW Sport en Gezondheid organises it.
