The Wieringer Obstacle Run is an obstacle run held during Dorpsfeest Westerland. Participants start from the festival site in Westerland and can enter individually or as a team of 2 to 8 people. The organisers use start slots to keep the flow manageable. Participation is open from age 13, and the event fits naturally into the village-festival weekend, where sport, challenge and taking part together are at the centre.
