Veldloop Staden

About the race

Athletics club Staden organises this cross-country race on the sports fields of De Wankaarde as the sixth Memorial Martine Vandewalle. It is the fifth round of the cross-country series of the West-Vlaamse Vrije Sporters, but non-affiliated runners may also take part. The first start is at 2 pm. The heats run by age, from 150 m for the youngest to 4.4 km for the men, each in small and large loops across the field. Around 2.30 pm there is a public cross or family race of 2.2 km for everyone. Registration and the prize ceremony take place in the shooting club's canteen.
