Valouwe Trail

About the race

The Valouwe Trail is a guided 25-kilometre trail run on the Veluwe, setting off from Lunteren. It forms part of the Saturday Sessions of Loopmeesters, a series of one-day running adventures. Its character differs from an ordinary race: the group runs together at a pace of around six minutes per kilometre, with stops along the way to rest and take photographs. The group numbers a minimum of eight and a maximum of twenty participants, which keeps the whole thing small and personal. Afterwards coffee or tea is waiting, with homemade apple pie out of the car boot. Members join free of charge, non-members pay a modest contribution.
