Urban Trail Haarlem

About the race

The Urban Trail Haarlem turns the city centre itself into the course. From De Koepel, the former dome prison now given over to culture and business, the route leads past streets, squares, historic buildings and places that would never normally sit on a running route. There is a short route of roughly five to six kilometres and a long one of ten to twelve, both starting and finishing at De Koepel. Fast times are not the point: what matters is what you come across on the way, and the route changes from edition to edition, so even regulars keep seeing something new. Participants can raise money for KWF Kankerbestrijding as they run. Golazo Athletics organises the event within the Urban Trail Series.
