Triathlon Veenendaal

About the race

The Triathlon Veenendaal now counts more than forty editions and is carried by an organising team working together with the local swimming club and the municipal sports service. The programme is broadly set up, with several distances and categories alongside one another, complemented by an open water race. For this edition the bike course has been renewed: instead of laps on the Rondweg-Oost it now follows a car-free route of exactly ten kilometres through the Binnenveld, the open meadowland between Veenendaal and Wageningen. That change makes the cycling leg both safer and more pleasant to ride.
