The Valley Run Winter Edition is a road race in Veenendaal, starting and finishing at the Veenendaal Oost shopping centre. There are three routes: a kids run of 1.2 kilometres, a fast 5 kilometres through Veenendaal Oost and a 10 kilometres that covers that same course twice. The 5 and the 10 kilometres use two start pens, one for fast runners and one for everyone else, with a target time deciding where you line up. All participants run with a chip in their race number, and the prize-giving takes place immediately after the finish in the finish area. Race numbers are collected on the day at the nearby sports hall, and first aid is stationed along the course.
