Trail des Mineurs

About the race

Trail des Mineurs is Halanzy's trail race, organised by ASBL La Mine Hier, with the start on Rue de la Motte. The event points back to the area's mining and steel heritage and turns that identity into three compact trail distances: 6 km, 12 km and 23 km. The short route has about 210 metres of elevation gain, the 12 km around 340 and the 23 km roughly 700, so every distance offers more than just kilometres. It remains a local event, but one with a clear character: running through the Aubange area, with heritage in the background and enough climbing to wake up the legs.
