The Trail de Bonne Fontaine starts in Vodelée, a village in the municipality of Doische, and runs through the forests of the Pays de Chimay and the valley of the Hermeton. There are four distances, each with its own start time and a climb that grows with it: 7 kilometres with some 100 metres of ascent, 14 with 280, 23 with 600 and 35 with 800. The longest sets off at half past nine, the shortest two hours later, so the field moves through the forest spread out. The race is part of the Challenge Trail de la Forêt du Pays de Chimay, which means that alongside day entrants there are runners doing the whole series. Race numbers can be collected from half past eight.
