The Tillegem Trail runs through the Provinciaal Domein Tillegembos and the adjoining Beisbroekbos on the south side of Bruges — woodland in a region where that is scarce, and all the more attractive to run in for it. There are six distances, from a 2 kilometre kids run to 32 kilometres, with 6, 12, 18 and 26 in between. That spread makes the event both an introduction to trail running and a serious long distance. Walkers are equally welcome and use the same routes. By the finish area a base camp gives participants somewhere to linger before and after their lap.
