Teut Trail & Walk

About the race

Teut Trail & Walk starts at the De Waerde estate in Zonhoven and heads into the De Teut nature reserve. Together with Ten Haagdoorn in Houthalen-Helchteren that makes over seventeen hundred hectares, the largest heath area of Central Limburg. The course alternates sand, heath and wide paths with a few single tracks. Its best-known feature is the Zonhoven pit, the steep descent and climb familiar from the cyclocross, which is part of the route here too. There are four trail distances — 10, 14, 21 and 27 kilometres — alongside walking distances with their own start times. Dogs are welcome, provided they stay on a lead.
