't Kiel Loopt

About the race

't Kiel Loopt is the road race of Beerschot Atletiek in the Antwerp district of Kiel. Start and finish are at the clubhouse De Paarse Vlam in the Kielpark. The 5 km lap passes under the Braemblokken flats, through the garden of a convent and along the streets and squares of the neighbourhood; for the 10 km you run two laps. The streets are not closed off, so you follow traffic rules and marshals help where needed. The 5 and 10 km start at 2 pm. Beforehand, children run 100 m, 500 m or 1000 m for free in the park. There are changing rooms and a supervised spot for sports bags.
