The Summer Hill Sessions are a triptych of trail sessions by MudSweatTrails across the ridges near Nijmegen and Arnhem. The series consists of two evening sessions, in Molenhoek and Berg en Dal, and a Saturday morning session in Doorwerth. Each session is around 15 kilometres long and deliberately seeks out the climbing: the routes follow the steepest sections the area has to offer. There is no timing; instead people run in pace groups on the principle of leaving together and coming home together, so nobody is left behind. A single entry covers the full triptych. That makes this no classic race over one distance, but a compact series for runners who want to seek out elevation and technical trails as a group.
