The Stratenloop Waspik is built around a single 2.5-kilometre lap through the village. That lap doubles as the youth and beginners' race; anyone wanting five kilometres runs it twice, and the ten kilometres consists of four laps. The youngest participants have separate courses of 650 and 1300 metres. Start and finish are right by the buurthuis 't Schooltje on the Carmelietenstraat. The set-up is plain and practical: parking is at SV Capelle in Sprang-Capelle, and there is a shared changing room with toilets but no shower. The course is quick, though — the ten-kilometre record has stood at 30:33 since 2025. That makes this a small December race where the running is still serious.
