The Stratenloop 't Bels Lijntje of Gloria Atletiek starts at Sportpark Boschoven in Baarle-Nassau and runs for almost half its length over the Bels Lijntje, the former railway line between Tilburg and Turnhout. Because Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog sit inside one another as enclaves, the course crosses the national border twenty-eight times — a peculiarity you will not meet on any other street race. The morning opens with an adapted race over 800 metres and youth distances of 400, 800 and 1400 metres; around eleven the adults set off over 4, 7 or 10 kilometres. The course is fully paved and fast, which makes the longest distance well suited to anyone chasing a sharp time.
