The Staddijkloop sets off at Trainingscentrum MICHI on the Staddijk in Nijmegen and runs through park de Staddijk, the green belt on the southern edge of the city. It is expressly a family race: the youngsters do a lap of a kilometre, after which the 5 and the 10 kilometres follow on a course that is part paved and part unpaved. Because everything stays within the same park, spectators can stand in one place and still see everyone pass several times. The event is organised by the Nijmeegse Roadrunnersclub MIEP.
