The Sezoenstrail turns the Kerkplein in Bocholt into the centre of the village for a Sunday afternoon. Runners choose between 5 and 10 kilometres, both starting and finishing on the square; each distance awards podium places across six age and gender categories. Anyone who would rather walk can join the 5-kilometre experience walk, which sets off earlier in the afternoon and includes stops and points of interest along the way, with no time pressure and no competition. The youngest participants round off the afternoon with a free children's run. Music and spectators fill the square, and a cold Sezoens beer waits at the finish. Sports clubs and groups of friends can enter together.
